It is finally starting to feel like fall around here, meaning the temperature is dropping below 80 degrees, and it is absolutely fabulous. With the weather finally cooling down, and the grandparents in town for a visit this last weekend, we decided it was the perfect time to take L to the pumpkin patch. I have been wanting to go to this forever, and I'm so glad we finally made it. The farm was so cute, and it almost made you forgot you were right in the heart of Phoenix.
There was also a corn maze, which was fun (although a little creepy if you have ever seen Children of the Corn) L walked almost the whole way through before he decided he was tired and plopped down in the middle of the path, blocking traffic.
And then, of course, there were all the pumpkins. In the end we didn't end up buying any from there for two reasons;
1. they were pretty picked though all ready
2. Those suckers were expensive! Were talking like $18 bucks a pumpkin, when our local Fry's is selling them for like $6 or $7.
But we still went though and let L examine all of them. He kept trying to pick them up, so he was pretty happy when we found the patch of little pumpkins that were more his size.
