24 weeks

(Sorry for the quality of these pics! Don't know why they came out so dark!)

How far along: 24 weeks!
Maternity Clothes: Well, it finally happened! I pulled on my jeans today, buttoned them.... and realized it was a little hard to breath! We have moved onto the hairband stage! (You know, where you loop a hairband through the button hole to make the waist a little looser!)
Sleep: I feel like I sleep in a little nest at night! two pillows on each side (four total) one between the legs and one under my head! My poor hubby is running out of room!
What I miss: Nothing this week!
Exercise: I had to miss power yoga this week because of a conflicting appointment and even though I went to my regular yoga class, it was all core work so I didn't get too much out of it! Not a great week for yoga so I'm excited to have a good week next week. I did get in good cardio sessions, although I've started to notice the longer/harder I go on the treadmill the more my poor pubic bone hurts that night. I did almost four miles on Thursday and paid for it big time that night! Ouchie!
Cravings: Water and carbonated stuff! Sweets also, and cherries!
Aversions: Nothing really. My appetite is definitely coming back with a vengeance! Uh Oh!
Symptoms: Kicks and rolls. rib pain. pubic bone pain. I'm also getting full really easy. Like after a relatively small meal I'll feel uncomfortably full for the next hour.... and then I'm starving again!
Labor Signs: Just the good old Braxton Hicks!
Best moments of this week: We had another ultrasound this week, at our level 2 perinatoligist. I really liked the guy, he went through every little detail and you could tell he still loved doing this after many years! It always makes me feel so good and reassured to have a good, detailed ultrasound where everything looks perfect! (What can I say.... I"m a worrywart!) We also signed L up for his first soccer season, which will be starting at the end of August. I'm so excited for him, but I also can't believe my baby is old enough for team sports!!!

23 weeks

How far along: 23 weeks!
Maternity Clothes: Lol, I feel like every week is going to be the week.... but nope! I can still say my pants are buttoning. Tight, and probably one good wash away from not buttoning, but for now I haven't had to bust out the maternity pants! It's crazy how differently I am carrying this baby, with L and L2 I was in maternity pants by about 13 weeks. I've also gained so much less weight. I'm still only up about 4 or 5 pounds this pregnancy, and with L and L2 I was up 15-20 at this point. I'm happy that I'm not going to gain as much as I did with the other two, and the Dr says baby is growing perfect so my low weight gain isn't a concern, but it kind of sucks because I know the low weight gain is in part because of all the stress we've had with L2's stuff lately. I want to be happy, fat preggo lady with my tub of ice cream, not stressed out!!!!
Sleep: I'm getting pretty uncomfortable at night, at sleeping with like 4 pillows. I have a boppy pillow that I used for the last two pregnancies, but it's pretty worn out. I'm thinking about investing in a snoogle...... anyone have any experience with those?
What I miss: I had a wedding last weekend, and it would have been nice to be able to drink some wine with my girlfriends!
Exercise: Back to the norm! Power yoga, regular yoga and then my usual 3 miles on the treadmill. The treadmill is starting to get a little harder.I do a really steep incline and a high speed and I've been finding myself struggling more and more right around when I hit two miles... I really have to work for that last mile! I know at some point I'll have to slow it down a bit and bring down the incline, so I'm trying to push it hard for as long as I possibly can!
Cravings: Water! It's so hot and I"m so thirsty all the time! Also, my sweet tooth is coming back... I've been enjoying a fair amount of cookies and I made cupcakes for S's birthday which were delicious.
Aversions: Nothing really. My appetite is definitely coming back with a vengeance! Uh Oh!
Symptoms: Kicks and rolls. He especially enjoys kicking me in the bladder! Some swelling on the really hot days when I'm on my feet for a long time. Some rib pain. Pubic bone pain, especially after a hard workout!
Labor Signs: Just the good old Braxton Hicks!
Best moments of this week: Seeing a wonderful friend get married at a beautiful lodge in Donner Lake! Celebrating my amazing husbands 29th birthday! Oh, and we had a Dr appointment so we got to see out little man on the ultrasound! (On a side note, this was our first appointment since the great "boy/girl" dilemma, and our poor Dr felt soooooo bad! I felt bad that he felt so bad! He apologized so many times and said please keep coming to see me, you make beautiful boy babies! Haha! I told him all was forgiven and we were very excited for our third son!)

22 weeks!

How far along: 22 weeks!
Maternity Clothes: My jeans are still buttoning.... but I think their days are numbered! The jeans in this pic are not maternity, however after an afternoon of wearing them they were starting to feel a little uncomfortable in the waist area! It's been super hot and humid here, so I've been doing a lot of maxi skirts and dresses!
Sleep: Sleep is OK. If you know me, you know I tend to be a bit of a worrier and over-analyzer... and my mind lately has been refusing to turn off at night, no matter how tired I am!
What I miss: nothing this week!
Exercise: Back to the norm! Power yoga, regular yoga and then my usual 3 miles on the treadmill. The treadmill is starting to get a little harder.I do a really steep incline and a high speed and I've been finding myself struggling more and more right around when I hit two miles... Best moments of this week: Getting prepared to go to Lake Tahoe this weekend for a good friends wedding!

21 weeks!

How far along: 21 weeks!
Maternity Clothes: My jeans are still buttoning.... but I think their days are numbered! They are getting a little snug, especially if I wear them and then we go out to eat or something! I've been wearing maternity shirts a lot more, they are just so much more comfortable!
Sleep: sleeping good... feeling pretty energetic during the day, but crashing at night!
What I miss: just not feeling so achy!
Exercise: This week was a little off. I missed one day because L2 had an appointment, and another day because of the 4th of July! But, the three days I did get in were all good ones, so that's what counts! I'm still holding strong on my 3-3.5 miles on the treadmill, but it's always walking (fast and at a high incline) these days. I think my running days are done until this babe gets here!
Cravings: I bought double stuffed oreos at the store this week.... I don't think I've ever bought oreos before, but they just sounded so freaking good! (and they were!)
Aversions: Nothing really. My appetite is definitely coming back with a vengeance! Uh Oh!
Symptoms: Lot's of kick and rolls! My ribs are still hurting... I'm not happy about this. It's probably some of the worst pain I've ever experienced when it gets bad, so the fact that I can feel it coming on makes me super nervous. It's also been sooooo hot here, and I notice if I'm on my feet all day my ankles will be a little swollen.
Labor Signs: I've been getting lots of braxton hicks contractions, which seems a little earlier than the last two times!
Best moments of this week: Celebrating the 4th of July with my beautiful little family and some good friends! I love holidays, I love holiday (short) weeks, and I love any time my hubby gets to be home with us instead of at work! We've always been working on some nursery ideas for this new baby, which makes me excited!
