Oh..... hey December.
So, apparently I have been way off my game, considering today is Christmas and I haven't posted a single thing this month. In my defense, December is the most wildly crazy time of year for me. I know it is for everyone else too, but I go from birthdays in September, October, and November and then straight into the holiday season! It is by far my favorite time of year, but some thing definitely fall to the wayside! But here is a quick recap!
We took Christmas card photos. These are basically several hours of torture as I yell at my children in order to get at least one good picture to show what a loving family we are.
Followed by S's work Christmas party where they rented out a whole movie theater so we could take the kids to see the new Grinch movie,
Getting and decorating our Christmas tree. And I'm not even going to talk about the fact that we got a beautiful tree and decorated it with all our gorgeous ornaments and it fell over in the middle of the night and shattered a lot of of ornaments. No, seriously. I'm not going to talk about it.
But in the end it all worked out and thankfully most of our sentimental ornaments were spared.
A girls night dinner and a gift exchange!
Pictures with Santa. Always a family affair because R still wants nothing to do with him.
The ATV light parade with all our wonderful friends!
Christmas Eve, which included bowling!
Followed by our Christmas Eve tradition of Christmas stories in front of the tree.
And then....... Santa came!!!
And then, Christmas morning was here!
